Massport Reducing Service to Logan Express

Braintree, Back Bay and Peabody sites impacted

BOSTON – The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) will be temporarily suspending the Peabody Logan Express service, and reducing the service at both Braintree and Back Bay from 20-minute headways to 30 minutes.

The Peabody Logan Express lot will close to customers today. Buses will continue to run from Logan to the lot through the weekend. Starting Monday, Massport will transport any passengers already parked in the Peabody lot back to their vehicles. There will be information curbside and at the information booths for those passengers.

Both Braintree and Back Bay had been operating at 20-minute headways. Starting Monday, those services will be scaled back to 30-minute headways.

We will continue to look at our existing schedules and make adjustments according to customer demand.
