Now through Nov. 26, we are encouraging passengers to arrive at Logan Airport a minimum of 2 ½ hours before a domestic flight and three hours for an international departure. Travelers should monitor www.flylogan.com for updated airline and airport information. Be sure to check with your airline on your flight status before coming to the airport.
Passengers should also familiarize themselves with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) carry-on luggage regulations to help lessen delays at security checkpoints.
No one likes to wait in security lines. Taking a moment to review TSA’s Dos and Don’ts of security screening can help you get through the checkpoint line faster. Remember there are restrictions on liquids, gels and aerosols in carry-on bags.
When in doubt, place liquids in checked baggage. Passengers can help the screening process move along more quickly by adhering to TSA requirements on liquids, gels and aerosols. Nothing more than 3.4 ounce containers, in a one-quart, clear, zip-top plastic bag. One bag is allowed per passenger.
