Being green at Logan Airport is now easier than ever. Listed below are a few ways you can help the environment during your visit.
The MBTA offers Blue Line Subway services and Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit service to and from Downtown Boston. The MBTA is the most economical and environmentally friendly way to get Logan.
Enjoy a comfortable and convenient ride to and from the airport with Logan Express bus service in Braintree, Framingham, Woburn, and Peabody. Logan Express has full-service bus terminals and secure parking at each location with direct service to all of Boston Logan's terminals.
Back Bay Logan Express offers travelers a convenient way to get to Logan from the Downtown Boston area. Catch nonstop service between the airport and Back Bay neighborhood.
All terminals are accessible from the East Boston neighborhood through sidewalks and pathways.
Recycling barrels are located throughout Logan Airport including recycling barrels for bottles and cans at the entrances to all security checkpoints.
The airport’s single-stream recycling program collect paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum, and glass all in one receptacle.
Clean Vehicle Preferred Parking Program
Passengers traveling to Logan Airport in hybrid vehicles have preferred parking available.
Visit Berkshire Farms Market in Terminal B at Gate 21 to find an array of farm-fresh salads, sandwiches, artisan cheese platters and other to-go items that demonstrate local producers’ commitments to sustainable, organic quality food.
Water Filling Stations
Quickly fill up your empty water bottles at specifically designed water bottle filling stations located in Terminals B, C and E. To see where the stations are located, please see our Interactive Map.
Liquid Collection Stations at Security Checkpoints
Empty your water bottles before going through airport security at liquid collection stations and refill them post-security. Or recycle your empty containers and help to make Logan Airport greener. One liquid collection station is located in each terminal at the main checkpoint (except for the American Airlines checkpoint in Terminal B).
